The Texas Department of Transportation has announced they will be closing westbound highway 114 between FM 179 (Inler Avenue) and Research Boulevard on Thursday, January 25th.
The closure will allow the rail company to make repairs to the railroad crossing. Traffic in the work zone will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Motorists are asked to slow down and anticipate delays in traffic. Drivers are asked to be cautious in the work zone.
Work is expected to last throughout the day.
