Sundown City Library Receives $100K In Grant Funds

Press Release Provided By the Sundown City Library:

SUNDOWN, TX – The City of Sundown Library gratefully announces it is the recipient of a construction grant of $100,000 from the FMH Foundation. The funds will be used to further the rehabilitation of a historic church into a new library. Library Director, A’ndrea McAdams, shares, “We are humbled by the network of organizations such as the FMH Foundation who have embraced our vision in building better together.”

Over a half-dozen philanthropic organizations have provided the funds to redesign the space,
giving a complete makeover from top to bottom. “A majority of the FMH funds will purchase
energy-efficient windows for our 4,000+ square foot building,” McAdams continues, “and some
of the e-sports arena furnishings.”

The FMH Foundation was established in 2011 by Florence Marie Hall, a generous west Texas
native. Their mission statement is “to further a vision toward reality,” and the City of Sundown
Library is sincerely appreciative of their investment in the dream of a transformative library
space.
