The City of Levelland is in the midst of its Spring Cleanup which runs from March 11th through the 26th each year in order to ensure that residents have a sanctioned location to drop off cleaning waste. 7 roll off containers have been placed around the city in 6 locations: Kauffman Park, Jefferson & MLK, Brookhollow & S. College, 3rd & Ave. D, Lee & Ave. Q, 1700 Ave. H, and the Levelland Recycling Center. They do ask that the following items not be disposed in these containers: Oil Filters, Tires, loose papers, appliances, metal, dirt or concrete, liquids or chemicals, and car batteries.
