On Sunday, April 11, a Levelland Police Officer was dispatched to the Stripes convenience store at 101 E. Hwy 114, to investigate a complaint concerning a male subject who had exposed himself to the female employee at the store.
According to the female employee, the black male, wearing a red shirt and black sweats, isolated her by the restroom where there was no camera and proceeded to expose himself.
After an unsuccessful search for the suspect, the officer spoke with the female complainant who said the male entered the store and asked where the restroom was. She told him the restrooms were in the back of the store.
After going to the back, the suspect yelled that he needed soap and when the employee went to the women’s restroom to get the soap, he was inside that restroom with his pants down and exposed himself to her.
After a brief exchange of words with the female, the male apologized, purchased a water bottle and a cup of ice, and left the store.
A few moments later, the store manager arrived and provided the in-store video and the officer was able to see that the suspect was a black male wearing a red shirt with a white Nike emblem and black sweats. He was also wearing a red and white ball cap.
