DPS Executes Search Warrant, Making Two Arrests in Hockley County

Texas Department of Public Safety Special Agents executed a search warrant in Hockley County on Friday and made two arrests.

The search warrant was executed in the 400 Block of Avenue D in regards to a drug case under investigation.

According to reports from DPS, Special Agents from the Texas Department of Public Safety along with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team executed the search warrant on Friday morning.

During a search of the home officers located, 36.5 grams of methamphetamine inside the home, a metal jar lid containing 15 grams of methamphetamine and three plastic bags containing a total of 21.5 grams of methamphetamine.

Pedro Antonio Vargas Conde and Daena Flores Guillen were both arrested at the residence and charged with the Manufacture and/or Delivery of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams and theft between $1,500 to $20,000. Both remain in the Hockley County Jail on a bonds totalling $25,000 each.
