Sundown ISD Names Lone Finalist for Superintendent

Sundown ISD Board of Trustees held a special meeting recently and named the lone finalist for Superintendent.

Sundown ISD has named current High School Principal, Brent Evans as lone finalist for Superintendent of Sundown ISD. Evans has been with Sundown ISD for 12 years as the High School Principal. He was a Middle School principal in Brekenridge and an Athletic Director and Head Football Coach in Alpine prior to coming to Sundown.

Current Sundown ISD Superintendent, Scott Marshall announced to the school board in December that he was retiring at the end of the school year. Marshall has 32 years in education and is completing his 24th year in Sundown. He came to Sundown in 1997 as the Elementary School Principal for 16 years and Superintendent for the past eight years.
