Sundown ISD Administration was notified Tuesday of a positive test for COVID-19 in a high school student.
According to information from Superintendent Scott Marshall, the student was last on the campus on October 1st and will not return until the end of the required quarantine period. Any student or staff member identified as close contacts have been notified directly by campus or district administration.
Out of an abundance of caution, the district asks all students and staff to monitor their health and contact their primary care physician if they have any COVID-19 symptoms. You are also advised to notify the district immediately if you develop symptoms or receive a positive test.
