Hockley County released information this weekend concerning 45 new recoveries in COVID-19 cases have been confirmed by the Texas Department of State Health Services. They have also confirmed 13 new cases.
According to Hockley County Judge Sharla Baldridge, seven of the new cases were confirmed last Tuesday and six of the new cases were confirmed on Friday. Of the new new cases, 10 cases are Levelland residents, one is a Sundown resident, one case is a Smyer resident and one case is an Anton resident.
Based on the new information, Hockley County has a total of 346 cases with 291 recoveries and seven deaths leaving 48 active cases.
