A Levelland woman was sentenced Thursday to 6 1/2 years in prison on Federal drug charges out of Lubbock county.
Marissa Nicole Guillen, 23 was arrested at an apartment complex in the 1700 block of 26th street in Lubbock, back in September of 2019. A Texas Department of Public Safety Special Agent made the arrest as a result of a search warrant. She was found in possession of a pound of methamphetamine when police arrested he in the residence. The meth was in a plastic shopping bag next to her on a couch.
She plead guilty to Distribution and Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.
She was on probation out of Hockley County when she was arrested.
