Levelland Police Investigate Theft From Levelland Gebo’s

Levelland police officers were dispatched to the Gebo’s store on Avenue H in Levelland Saturday morning in regard to the theft of two push mowers.

A Gebo’s employee told officers that a male subject had stolen the two mowers from outside the store around 8:15 am that morning. The employee stated he had loaded items for a customer and noticed the mowers missing, he asked the store manager and other employees if they had sold the mowers and all declined.

Surveillance footage obtained from the store showed a male subject backing a white pickup toward the building and pulling the two lawn mowers into the bed of the pickup and driving off. The mowers are described as a Trimmer brand mower with a Briggs and Stratton engine, valued at $429 and a High Wheel mower valued at $329.

The suspect is a male in his mid 30’s. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket and a black cap.
