Person of Interest in Death of Levelland Woman Takes Plea Deal in Unrelated Case

Source: Taylor County Jail

Ricky Don Henderson of Levelland has accepted a plea deal of 25 years in prison on a drug case. He has been held in the Taylor county Jail in Abilene since January when he was arrested on a possession of THC charge.

He was named a person of interest in late 2018 in the murder of Jeannie Quinn of Levelland, however, he has not been charged with murder. Quinn went missing from Levelland in April, 2018, her body was found hanging in a wooded area in Abilene. Henderson was arrested on the possession of THC several months after the disappearance.

Henderson was indicted last month on delivery of a controlled substance, namely marijuana, to a minor. This charge was out of Hockley County.

Henderson continues to be held in Taylor County while the family of Quinn continue to push prosecutors for a murder charge and pushing the parole board to have his parole revoked.
