Levelland Police Serve Arrest Warrants this Week

Levelland Police have served some outstanding arrest warrants this week.

On Monday at approximately 2:20 pm an officer stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of South Alamo for speeding. Upon making contact with the driver, the officer informed the driver of the reason for the stop was due to speeding near the intersection of Highway 114 and Alamo road. The individual was confirmed by police in car radar units as going 71 in a 55 mph zone.

Elianise Lewis, 55 of Levelland was found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant of driving while license suspended. Lewis was transported to the Hockley County Jail on the outstanding warrant.

Officers also found an individual wanted on an outstanding warrant while on routine patrol Monday morning around 11:00 am. Officers arrested Alannah Brown, 24 on a warrant for issuance of a bad check. She was located near the Levelland Middle School and was arrested and was transported to the Hockley County Jail
