Levelland Police Make Arrest for Shop Lifting

Levelland Police Department officers were dispatched to the Wal-Mart store on East Highway 114 Monday night at approximately 5:15pm in reference to a shop lifter.

When officers arrived they located the suspect in an alley behind East Jackson Street, north of the store. The suspect was placed under arrest and questioned.

The suspect refused to answer questions for the officers. A counterfeit $100 bill was located on the subject along with a fictitious drivers license for another individual. Officers learned that the the suspect stole approximately $700 worth of merchandise from the Wal-Mart store.

Jordan Price of New Mexico was arrested and charged with evading arrest or detention, forgery of a financial instrument, theft of less than $750 and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information.
