The special Criminal Investigations Division of the Texas Department of Public Safety executed a search warrant in Levelland on a residence and a business late last week and now three people have been arrested on drug and weapon charges.
DPS executed the first search warrant Thursday morning on 14th street. Officers said they arrested Summer McFadin, 42 of Levelland on various drug possession charges. McFadin remains in the Hockley County Jail on a $6,500 bond. Officers also arrested Robert Quinn, 17 at the residence on a charge of theft of a firearm, carrying a prohibited weapon and a drug possession charge, he is being held on a $5,500 bond in the Hockley County Jail.
Officers also arrested Tyrell Taylor, 38 of Levelland on various drug possession charges. He is being held on a $12,000 bond. Jessica Lopez, 37 of Levelland was arrested at the residence on an unrelated warrant out of Hockley County.
Officers with DPS also executed a second search warrant at The Dog Shoppe on College Avenue near the intersection of 114 and College Avenue. They say they also found more methamphetamine and various pharmaceutical items not in proper containers at that location. That warrant was executed late Thursday.
