Autopsy Reveals More Details Into Death of Levelland Woman in Abilene

missing person 04162018Autopsy results revealed that a young woman from Levelland who was found deceased in Abilene just days after she went missing was found with a twisted hard wire around her neck.

The autopsy results for 20 year old Jeannie Quinn was released on Wednesday.  Quinn’s body was reported missing from Levelland in mid April, her body was found in Abilene on April 17th.  Reports indicate she was found hanging in the area of Marigold street and Arnold Boulevard in Abilene.  She was found with a hard wire looped around her neck and white bags tied on her hands.

Police had initially considered the death suspicious, however, this week they have declared it a homicide.  Abilene Police Chief Stan Standridge has confirmed their is a person of interest in the case, however, he would not release any further information.
