Abilene Police released further information concerning the investigation into the death of 20 year old Jeannie Quinn of Levelland in mid April.
Abilene Police Chief Stan Standridge announced Tuesday that the Medical Examiner has determined that Quinn died of Asphyxiation on April 17th. Chief Standridge also said that Quinn was found hanging at the intersection of Marigold and Arnold Boulevard in Abilene.
Standridge said that Abilene Police have now classified the death a homicide and they do have a person of interest in the case. He also stated the person of interest is not from the Abilene area.
In late May, police obtained search warrants for the cell phones and data from the cell phones for Quinn’s boy friend and his friend.
