Suspect Arrested in Littlefield Stabbing

Littlefield Police GenericLittlefield Police arrested Erik Mullen, 39 on Monday night.  Chief Ross Hester said he was arrested after he matched the description of a suspect who left two women seriously injured when he broke into their room at the Crescent Park Motel.

According to reports from the police, Mullen returned to the motel to recover some of his personal property and was seen leaving by a citizen who called police.  Hester said there was enough probable cause to obtain an arrest warrant for Mullen.  He was arrested and taken to the Lamb County Jail, he was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.  He is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.

Chief Hester said Mullen is considered a flight risk as he has no ties to the area.
