The student was arrested after being questioned by investigators on Thursday evening.  She was transported to the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center by Hockley County Juvenile Probation officers.  Due to the age of the suspect, the identity will not be released.

According to officials the bomb threat was written on a note and found inside the school.  Officials say the K-9’s with the Lubbock County Bomb Squad found no credible threat inside the school.  Classes resumed at Levelland Middle School on Thursday afternoon around 2:05 pm.

Chief Garcia said the investigation into the incident at the Intermediate School on Wednesday afternoon continues and as of late Friday, an arrest has not been made.
