Levelland Police Arrest 11 Year Old for Bomb Threat at Levelland Intermediate

10306479_825500670877069_1946972718073611415_nLevelland Police arrested an 11 year old male student for the bomb threat incident at the Levelland Intermediate School on Wednesday.  Levelland Police was interviewing students in reference to the incident at the Law Enforcement Center at approximately 5:00 pm according to Police Chief Albert Garcia.  The arrest was made at approximately 7:30 pm Friday night.

The 11 year old was charged with a felony charge of terroristic threat and was transported to the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center by Hockley County Juvenile Probation Officers.

Officials said that a note was found in a boys restroom on the Intermediate Campus, the note stated that a bomb was in the building set to detonate at a set time.  The investigation is ongoing.

Due to the age of the suspect his identity will not be released.
