Lubbock Man Charged with Intoxicated Manslaughter in August Hit and Run

Lubbock PoliceCasey Baker, 38 of Lubbock was indicted by a Lubbock County Grand Jury Tuesday.  He was charged in a vehicular manslaughter case from August.  Reports indicate he was driving a pickup near Loop 289 and University when he collided with a bicycle ridden by 20 year old Joshua Allen Noble.  Noble was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.

Baker fled the scene and was spotted by Lubbock police officer patrolling an area business.  Baker was taken into custody near 66th and Avenue P in Lubbock.

Baker has been charged with Intoxicated Manslaughter and Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
