Seal Coating Starts in Levelland

2017 Annual Seal Coat Map

The City of Levelland has announced that crews with Ronald Waggoner construction will be in town this week seal coating many of the streets in the City of Levelland.  They plan to seal coat 1st street through 5th street from Avenue H to College Ave. on each of those streets.  Work on those streets started today.  They also will be seal coating between Houston and Fifth Street on Ave. A, B, C, D, E, F and G.  All of this work is part of the annual seal coating project.

Residents are asked to make sure their cars are moved off of the streets in these areas so that the work can be completed in a timely manner.

The same crew will also be seal coating several streets as part of the Federal Disaster Declaration following the 2015 blizzard.  You can get a full map of that project by clicking the above link.

The crews will be seal coating, Houston street from Ave. V back to West Avenue and West Avenue from Houston to FM 300.  They will also seal coat A&M Lane from College Ave. to Verne BeeBee Drive, Magnolia from College Ave. to Sherman, Hickory from College Ave. to Alamo, Alamo from Holly to Hwy 114, Sherman from Hickory to 114 and Cactus from Sherman to Flint.  Please remember to have your vehicles off of the street so that the work can be completed.

The contractor expects all of the seal coating to be completed by the end of the week.
