Officers with the Levelland Police Department took 4 juveniles into custody around 12:30am Saturday, October 1 on a curfew violation.
According to reports, officers were called by custodians at South Elementary that juveniles were around the school after hours. The juvenile suspects were located by officers and they attempted to hide from officers behind some vehicles in the 100 block of Poplar. While some officers were interviewing the juveniles another officer went back and searched the area where they were hiding and found 2 soft air bb guns. Another gun was found on one of the suspects along with a knife.
The 3 suspects were arrested on a City of Levelland Curfew Violation and was taken to the Law Enforcement Center. After further investigation and questioning the 3 were released to their parents.
The case remains under investigation and additional charges could be filed.
