Levelland High School Begins Classes for 2016-2017 With Renovated Campus

It was Back to School for Levelland ISD on Monday.  Levelland High School Students are going back to a renovated building.  The high school renovations were completed last week as part of the $39.4 Million Bond Issue.

Some of those renovations included updates in classrooms including new carpet, ceilings, new lighting and painting.  An impressive yet economical solution installed in the classrooms are new motion sensor lights which will go off after they sense no motion for 15 minutes, so forgetting to turn the lights off is not an option.  The new lighting was also installed in the hallways and library as well.

A project which was finished last year was the new science wing which included a full renovation and expansion of the old science wing.

One of the projects which will stand out is the new flooring in the commons area complete with the new Double “L” in the center.
