Shopko has announced that it will open a new Shopko Hometown Store in Littlefield in the former Alco building this fall.
The store is expected to open in October or November, 2016 and will become a staple in the community as a “one stop shop” for all essentials.
Shopko Hometown combines Shopko’s strong reputation for customer service with a broad and dynamic offering of national brands and privale lable brands at a great value. The new store will provide shoppers convenience with products ranging from clothing, home furnishings, toys, consumer electronics, seasonal items as well as lawn and garden products.
The Littlefield store will be part of over 230 Shopko Hometown stores across the country, making Shopko one of the nation’s largest retailers serving smaller communities. The company will hire approximately 25 full and part time employees for the Littlefield store.
Shopko is owned by an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners Inc., and was founded in 1962 with headquarters in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Shopko Stores Operating Co. LLC is a $3 billion retailer operating more than 370 stores in 25 states.
I just wanted to tell you I really like your format, the infrequency of the email notices (you don’t bombard people with them, your staff person(s) must have been a real reporter as he/she knows what is news and what is fluff, and you only send one topic (news article at a time, not 2-3 in one mailing. Good job. I’ve been getting them for between a 1.5 years – 2 year. Thanks for leaving me on the list. You are doing a great job. Please pass message onto the staff that helps put it together.
