On Thanksgiving Day at approximately 12 noon the Levelland Police Department responded to a call in the 200 block of Ave J in reference to a domestic disturbance.
Officers spoke to a female victim, Ashley Mason who stated that her ex-boyfriend, Cornelio Delgado broke into the house and assaulted her, her sister and a male subject with a bat. She also said that Delgado took their 6 week old child from the residence. She also advised officers that Delgado has been abusive in the past and she was leaving him but did not have any custody documents for the child. She was provided with information on how to obtain a “protective order” from a judge.
Officers were able to get a statement from the 2 female subjects at the home, however the male subject has refused to give a statement or to cooperate with law enforcement at this time. All victims refused medical treatment at the scene. Officers also notified Child Protective Services and they have started an investigation.

The two female victims have both pressed charges on the suspect and officers have filed a report for Burglary of a Habitation, Aggravated Assault, Assault/Family Violence, and Endangering a Child against the suspect. Officers with the Police Department have notified all area law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for the suspect and infant.
