The Levelland Fire Department showcased their newly refurbished ladder truck Monday night prior to the Council Meeting.

Fire Chief Bill Durham was on hand to visit with council members and proudly displayed the department’s new truck.

You will recall the truck was donated by Oxy Petrolium where it had been in use at the Ingleside Energy Center.  The 2000 model E-One Fire Truck was donated to the Levelland Fire Department by Oxy and will be a great asset to the department.  It was estimated that the department spent under $100,000 repainting the truck.  A new truck of this nature would cost the City over $1 Million Dollars.
