Morton Man Pleads Guilty to Church Fire

A Morton resident has plead guilty to arson. Aaron Trinidad, 20 of Morton plead guilty this week to setting the fire at the First United Methodist Church in Morton in December of 2013.

Trinidad was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the crime.

The church continues to rebuild. Construction started late last year and crews are still working on the building. The steeple was set on the new building last week.
