Levelland City Councilman Earns State Award

Levelland City Council representative for District C, Billy Youngblood was recently among other elected city officials of Texas recognized by the Texas Municipal League as part of a program to recognize those committed to continuing their professional development, and learning more about their governance role and city government.

The Texas Municipal League program offers levels of recognition to elected officials who continue their education, with a minimum of 42 continuing education units per credit year.

During the Texas Municipal League and the Association of Mayors, council members and commissioners Elected Officals conference held recently in San Marcos, Youngblood received the award for the 2014 credit year.
