Littlefield ISD Announces Uniforms for Employees

In a recent meeting of the Littlefield ISD Board of Trustees, it was announced that the district will be providing uniforms for some school personnel so that they can be easily recognized as Littlefield ISD Personnel. The purchase of the maroon uniforms (enought for a week per person) will include shirts, pants and jackets-which will allow the lining to be removed, if desired. The cost per person will be $35 and will be paid by the district through a government grant the district recently received.

Interim Superintendent Kay Franklin, gave the report during the Superintendent Report portion of the meeting. She said this will be a security measure so everyone knows who belongs in a building and is part of Littlefield ISD staff. It has not been released what staff will be issued uniforms.

The board also took action to approve the purchase of 2 74 passenger school buses to replace some aging buses.
