Littlefield Names New Postmaster

The announcement was made recently that Vivian Trotter of Littlefield was recently named Postmaster of the Littlefield Post Office. Trotter has recently served as Officer in Charge of the Littlefield office and has now officially been named Postmaster.

As Postmaster, Trotter’s administrative responsibility encompasses the entire City of Littlefield with 12 employees. She will oversee the daily Postal retail and delivery operations for city and rural delivery points that serve all area residents.

Trotter has been with the Postal Service for 28 years and began her career as a Relief Postmaster in Spade. In August, 1986 she was awarded her first Postmaster position in the Spade Post Office and served in that position for 22 years. Trotter has also been Postmaster of the Springlake and Muleshoe Post Offices.
