Early Voting Starts Today for the November 4 General Election

Early Voting begins today for the November 4 General Election. Early Voting continues through Friday, October 31, 2014 at 5pm.

In Hockley County you may cast a ballot in the County Clerks Office on the 2nd Floor of the Hockley County Courthouse from 9am to 5pm Monday-Friday, Sundown City Hall from 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday, Ropesville City Hall from 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday and Anton City Hall from 8am to 12Noon and 1pm to 5pm Monday-Friday.

This reminder you will need one of 6 acceptable forms of photo ID. These can include a Texas Drivers License, Texas Concealed Handgun Certificate, US Citizenship Certificate with a photo, US Passport with a photo, Military ID with photo or a Texas Personal ID card. If you do not have one of the acceptable forms of ID you will need to obtain an Election ID Certificate from your local Texas Department of Public Safety Office.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 4.
