After 40 hours of some customers of NTS Communications in Levelland being without internet, service was restored at just before 4am this morning.
NTS Communications suffered a major equipment failure which caused an outage of Internet Service to some customers in Levelland. The outage began at just before 11am Saturday morning and ended at just before 4am Monday.
KLVT News spoke with an NTS Customer Service Representative late Sunday evening. They stated that NTS technicians and engineers worked through out the weekend with representatives from the Manufacturer of the equipment. They stated the outage affected a large number of internet customers in Levelland, however not all customers were affected, because some customers are served by another system which is not affected by the outage.
We also asked if customers could expect a refund of any kind for the outage, we were directed to contact the Customer Service Billing Department at 797-0687 during normal business hours today.
KLVT News reached out to the President and CEO of NTS, Guy Nissenson, however he has not responded.
