Tuesday Afternoon Rollover Claims the Life of Anton Woman

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers worked for hours Tuesday investigating a two vehicle accident in Hockley County. The accident occurred at just before 2pm at the intersection of King Road and Main Road just outside of Anton. Officials say a Chevrolet Service truck was traveling northbout on King Road when if failed to yield right of way and collided with a Pontiac traveling west on Main Road. The Service truck then rolled and landed on top of the Pontiac, killing the driver, 37 year old Kirstie Kay Watkins of Anton.

The Chevrolet Service Truck was driven by 20 year old Zachary Joe Bounds of Littlefield-29 year old Epufanio Salazar also of Littlefield was a passenger in that vehicle.
