Littlefield Mayor Pro-Tem Elected to State Office

Littlefield Mayor Pro-Tem, Lottie Spencer was recently elected to the Texas Municipal League Association of Mayors, Councilmen and Commissioners’ Board as Second Vice President.

She recently attended the Annual Conference in San Antonio.  The conference is designed to provide elected city officials–mayors, council members and commissioners an opportunity to voluntarily enhance their knowledge of city government, sharpen their leadership skills, and visit with elected officials from across Texas.  During the event, those attending were offered a number of educational sessions on topics such as media relations, emergency management, transportation funding, water issues, and more.  Elected officials from all over the state attended the conference.

All City Councilmembers from Littlefield attended and was recognized as the only city in the state of Texas whose entire city council received a Continuing Education Award for completing Continuing Education at the conference.
