Members of the Board of Directors along with staff and visitors were on hand for the grand opening and ribbon cutting for the new Stettheimer Family Administration and Social Services Center.

The new facility was constructed with money donated by Joe and Tracy Stettheimer and Family, which was on hand for the ribbon cutting and opening of the new facility.

The facility is an addition to the current administration wing and renovations to the current facility. This new renovated facility allows the staff more room and allows for room to grow as the needs of the Texas Boys Ranch continues to grow and change said Lynn Harms, the current President of Texas Boys Ranch. The addition adds 5 additional offices which will now allow all staff members to have an office, which was not the case in the past. It will also allow room for a large conference room for parent/staff training and support services. They broke ground on the facility an estimated 3 months ago.

This project is one of three projects, all part of the 2.2 Million Dollar Capital Fundraising Campaign currently ongoing at the ranch. Director of Development, Steve Warren told KLVT News that they are well on their way and that construction for the new horse barn and therapeutic riding facility is underway and construction for the new recreation center is expected to begin in June or July of 2013.
